feel the breath
meditation
When the breath is unsteady,
the mind is unsteady.
The key to find peace within is non-reaction.
We tend to always judge, resist and feel attached. By working with the breath, we train ourselves to simply observe without reacting to situations. We learn to take things as they are and not as we want them to be. Life will always have its challenges and we learn to stay calm in an ever-changing world and become more peaceful within it and within us.
Meditation, Breathwork, Yoga Nidra

Meditation?
Breathwork? Yoga Nidra?
Meditation is the practice of focused concentration.
You train yourself to come back to the present moment over and over again.
You sharpen your awareness
and build up a healthy sense of perspective.

Meditation doesn't mean turning off thoughts and feelings.
It's about learning to observe them without judgement.

In my guided meditations,
i combine silent breath observation with active breathwork.

Breathwork is a tool to train our awareness.
It goes hand in hand with meditation and breath observation,
because without observing the breath, we cannot change it.
Why do we change our breathing?
Changing the breath with various guided breathing techniques,
can have the following benefits:
We regulate and balance our current state of being.
We energize our body and our mind.
We activate our parasympathetic nervous system and relax.

There is a vast range of techniques and, according to your needs,
we'll try different ones to figure out what works best for you
in any given situation.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra doesn't involve the physical aspect of asanas.
It is a guided meditation and practiced lying down.
Meditation and Breathwork helps us to enter a state of deep rest without actually falling asleep.
Your body is relaxed, but your mind still active.
It can be deeply restorative to be in between wakefulness and sleep.
A sharp focus is established with a body scan.

Why try it out?
Our own breath is with us 24/7 from day 1 until day x, when we leave this body.
Being aware of the breathing can be transformative and healing.
We become more mindful, we get to know ourselves better,
we can heal subconscious patterns and wounds,
we start deconditioning.
And most importantly, we start becoming aware of what is within us,
and focus less on what's happening outside of us.
